Game Description

Keep Those Darn Zombies Off Your Lawn!

The undead have risen from their graves, and the zombie horde is at your very front gate hungry for your brains! It is up to you and your arsenal of zombie fighting plants to push back this relentless horde and keep them from your doorstep.

Find just the right mixture of pea shooting plants, bushes, cherry bombs, and other foliage to bring down those zombies in a variety of ways, such as decapitating them, blowing them into black powder, or using great man-eating Venus Flytraps to swallow a zombie whole!

Figure out which plants work best against the 26 different zombie types, such as pole vaulting zombies which jump over bomb plants or mining helmet wearing zombies which take more damage.

Innovative Defense Game

It seems like a simple concept: select from a number of plants, each with a different way to take down the zombies, place them along a certain path, and then wait until you can purchase more plants by collecting the sunray resources. This gets intricately more complicated though, because there is no way of knowing which path you should cover first or the variety of zombie types which will rush down a certain path.

There is a great deal of strategy which you'll have to employ as you progress to harder levels since you can only bring in 7 different plant types for a particular level. Add in other obstacles, such as a setting sun, creeping fog, or a swimming pool, and the difficulty level can quickly become rather challenging.

Fun, Addictive Gameplay

Plants vs. Zombies presents a rather quirky tower defense-style game which is both challenging and fun. It's simple interface and straightforward concept make it easily accessible to gamers of all experience levels.

With nearly 50 main levels and five different game modes, Plants vs. Zombies also brings a great deal of replayability to the table.

Unlock a ton of fun mini games and puzzles including Vasebreaker, Last Stand, Wall-Nut Bowling and I Zombie (check out our I Zombie Endless Guide!).

Experience hours of addicting gameplay as you enjoy mowing down the masses of colorful zombies to the tune of some rather catchy, top-notch music.

If you like defense style games with a fair share of humor, download Plants vs. Zombies and put an end to the zombie legions today!

This is a great game full of action comedy and fun. There are heaps of different weapon plants, there’s a shop, there are lots of minigames and puzzles. There are 61 levels which will keep you entertained for hours and hours. There are many types of levels and zombies. It is the best game on the computer I have ever played. I highly recommend you buy it.

I’ve played a lot of adventure games before, bu..t..t..This one! Is my favorite! I love it! The graphics are high quality with vivid details and characters in it! This game is fabulous, awesome, tremendous, great, COOL!!!
The zombies are invading your yards, there are one, no…! There are several!! NO…...! THEY ARE AN ARMY!!! This is how the game begins. You need to plant plants in your yards to defend against the zombies that try to get into your house. You should always plant more sunflowers to get more sunbeams to plant. At night, there will be no sunbeams coming from the sky, and there is mist. Behind the mist, there hide a tremendous plot, you will never be able to know what it is if you don’t download now! Even 60 minutes is fine, it will be the best game of your life!! This game is suitable, very suitable for any age, the fantastic features! Oh my god!
I like it, no.. I enjoyed it…no I LOVE IT!!!!

I have played tower defense games before, but this game rocked my socks!

Guarding your front lawn from slow moving undead is hilarious at first. Then the tough zombies and plant upgrades come in…

Strategically placing your botanical army is always a proven challenge, but watching their expressions, (especially the Wall-Nut,) is cool too. The plants and zombies show a lot of character, and losing even one plant can cause you to cry a little.

The game can be THAT involving.

So yes, I highly recommend even getting the 60 minute demo of this game…It’s the greatest 60 minutes you’ll ever experience.

Plants vs. Zombies isn’t anything you’d expect from a game consisting of zombies. They’re funny, they’re homey, they’re in your yard!

I purchased the game simply because… if a company is crazy enough to go with an idea of random plants fighting off football playing zombies… that game is MINE! To begin with the facts, this is a Tower Defense game of sorts. Interchange Towers with Plants, invaders as Zombies and the Castle as your house, only, it doesn’t get old. The environments change, the tactics change, and while the game is fairly easy for an avid gamer, the surprises keep coming! On top of the as-advertised defense game, mini-games are incorporated for hours and hours of non-stop fun.

GRAPHICS: 4.5 out of 5
Animated graphics, well blended into this cartoon world.

SOUND: 4 out of 5
Well composed, sound effects fit nicely and “voice acting” is hilarious. Repetitive music though.

GAMEPLAY: 4.5 out of 5
Replay value is astounding, and more addicting than any average platformer game.
