Game Description
Shooter with Strategy Elements
Tremulous is a free, open source game that blends a team based FPS with elements of an RTS.
Players choose from 2 unique races, aliens and humans are able to build working structures in-game like an RTS. These structures provide many functions, the most important being spawning. The designated builders must ensure there are spawn structures or other players will not be able to rejoin the game after death. Other structures provide automated base defense (to some degree), healing functions and much more...
Player advancement is different depending on which team you are on. As a human, players are rewarded with credits for each alien kill. These credits may be used to purchase new weapons and upgrades from the "Armory". The alien team advances quite differently. Upon killing a human foe, the alien is able to evolve into a new class. The more kills gained the more powerful the classes available.
The overall objective behind Tremulous is to eliminate the opposing team. Do this by killing opposing players or destroy their spawn structures.

This game is definatly worth a look. It fuses intense shooter action with real-time strategy play. The graphics were lovely as were the sounds. The only bad thing about this game is the huge difference between the two teams, aliens and humans. The humans are the traditional protagonists of many scifi games, they specialize in guns that get bigger as you kill more aliens. The aleins on the other hand have next to no ranged weaponry, are very difficult to control and each time you evolve (get bigger as a reward for killing humans) you must adopt an new style of play, making them a very difficult to get used to. but, overall a fun game

i had it from another site but i love it its really good game with a lot of weapons and some upgrades but if u get tremx mod there is even more weapons and upgrades of course there is more mods but thats all thanks

This game is grrrrreat!!You can choose if you want to be an alien or a human.If you are humans,you can buy cool weapons and build turrets,reactors and many more!Aliens,you can climb on walls and ceilings,or can also build eggs,barricades etc.I always play with neighbor almost everyday on two computers.If you like RTS games or FPS game a lot,this game will be perfect for you, especially for people who love both kinds!This game is almost as good as Star Wars Battlefront or Counter-Strike.It will this game is fantastic for EVERYONE! Dont hesitate to download it!
