Billionaire 2 is a complex real estate board game. If you are a fan of Monopoly, but are looking for a more complex game, this is the perfect game for you. However, if you want a simple and easy to play real estate game, you should keep looking. The inclusion of the stock market, investments, and bonds adds a fun element, but is complex and difficult to figure out. This limiting nature makes the game more for older players, especially those who enjoy investing and the stock market.
Billionaire 2 is a fantastic real estate game that takes the basics of Monopoly much further as to create a new, and superior computer board game.
The basic idea of Billionaire 2 is like Monopoly. You move your piece around a game board and grab certain properties. When you own all of the same color, you are then free to build and collect rent.
What this game has over Monopoly is the variety of ways to earn wealth. Not only can you buy property, but you can buy stock in the affiliated company (each property has a corresponding company) that goes up and down in a very realistic stock market. You can also buy bonds, earn interest on cash and bonds, sell stock for profit, and land on the various bonus spaces. Another great feature is the ability to conduct hostile take overs of other players' properties!
Building options are also much more advanced than the regular Monopoly game. You can buy several types of buildings ranging from inexpensive houses to multi-million dollar construction projects. How much you spend determines on how much rent you will get back.
Billionaire 2 is an excellent game and highly recommended, especially the full version of the game where you can play several game types, opportunity to take over any property, and sell bonds and contruction projects. You can play with up to 4 human or computer players which makes a great family game. Billionaire 2 is a must for Monopoly lovers everywhere!

Needs to run on other platforms, May 01, 2010
by Beryl Walker (Centennial, CO)
I’ve been playing Billionaire for many years now starting with the version 1 game. I prefer it to all of the Monopoly versions I’ve played (classic, Here and Now, etc.) on Windows, Palm, RIM and iPhone platforms.
It is truly addictive and the AI, though smart, is easy to figure out enough to make it a relaxing way to make a lot of virtual money.
They really need an iPad version.

Total Addiction, Jun 10, 2007

I used to play the Billionaire-I game at my friends house as I wasn’t having a PC at that time. I used to go around at 11.00 pm on Saturdays and used to play it for "few minutes" and voila the clock shows 5 am. I cannot think of a game which had such a great replay value. You don’t need a hi-end graphics card nor the latest processor. The best thing about this game is the ease at which one can play the game as compared to a shareware version of Monopoly 3d which was heavy on the system and the download file size was whopping 250 mb as compared to 6 mb of Billionaire 2. Billionaire 2 has made a giant leap from its predecessor. Buying of bonds, salary negotiation, bond drawing are few of the exciting added features. Also one cannot buy a company from other players instantly. Buyer must have at least 2 companies in that particular business lot and also no other player is having 2 or more companies of that lot. A business lot comprises of 3-4. So let the dice roll and enjoy. Period.

Deja vu of Monopoly? Nah., Apr 28, 2007
by Junvic Valdez (Manila, Philippines)
When I first looked at the game’s screenshot, I immediately said: "Monopoly?" I’m quite into Monopoly, so I decided to look at it and download it. At first I was overwhelmed at the download size, but then, I thought, it’s probably worth it, so I did. When I played the game, I saw quite a great interface. Great, streamlined graphics. Probably why the download is so big, but, it was worth seeing it’s cool graphics. The game, however, has no music whatsoever, making for a quiet atmosphere, but good since it’s also relaxing. The sound effects are plentiful, and that was good too. As I played a game with the computer, I noticed that its AI was a bit challenging, but still beatable. The first time I played the computer, I nearly went bankrupt. Also, if you’ll notice on the trial version, many features are locked, stuff that you’ll actually need to win. They should’ve just put a time limit on this one. since I felt my version was lacking, I decided to buy the full version. It was worth it.
