Campfire Legends: The Hookman is a well-made hidden object game thriller that drags you into a terrifying campfire legend. Christine planned a great weekend at a cabin in the woods with her boyfriend but right away, terrifying things start happening and before long, Christine finds herself in a living nightmare.

This game is great because the hidden object searches are fairly short, usually with approximately five objects to find and then put together, like the pieces of a telephone. Since the searches are part of the story, you feel like you're really there with Christine through every scare. Searches span various scenes and the objects hidden in scenes make sense so this game feels realistic.

I enjoyed this game because it felt like being in a horror movie rather than playing a game. This game drips with suspense: shadows move, things jump out at you, the music is creepy and the story will keep you on the edge of your seat. This is a refreshing, well-made hidden object game because it's constantly entertaining and it blends gameplay and story very well. It's definitely worth playing!
