UT is a great first person shooter. Later games in the series are superior, such as UT2004, that has similar gameplay but much more content might be a better choice. If you enjoy playing classics, this is the game that got the UT series rolling.
You and your team of "bots" (virtual teammates) take on the deadliest warrior bots in a single-player mode or frag all corners in ruthless online and offline multiplayer combat! Face off against up to 16 players in head-to-head combat; no internet access required for single player games.
Unreal Tournament lets you play four game types:
50 Levels of battle, each one a work of art. Play them all in single player and multiplayer modes.
Unreal Tournament GOTY Demo is available through Impulse, a game management tool from Stardock similar to Steam.

the game unreal tournament is in my opinion a very good and interesting game the games multiplayer fuction is in my opinion the best part of the game it fun interesting and is always competive even with the bots so even if you dont feel like spending your time fighting other people you van hone your skills aganist a inteligent and cunning set of AI bots the main campaign version is very good to and has set of challenging campaign missions and is in my opinion a fun game good for poeple who want a friendly game of say onslaght have a good time and mercilessly beet the c@#P out of your friends with a flak cannon to the face but the game does have its draw backs mainly due to the low level graphics but other than that the game is a sucsess and is highly enjoyable so i score is a solid 4 out of 5

Unreal Tournament “Game of the Year Edition”, Apr 18, 2010

It is a game full good graphics. I think it was somewhat 3D based, unique backgrounds, the effects of the game fit the background for example: the space level had a zero gravity effect. I did not like the fact how the controls were set up, but I did like the fact that I could configure most of them. I think it was fun and challenging and somewhat simplistic, making it relatively easy to play though not without a level of difficulty. I would not recommend the game for small children, however I think it might be OK for teenagers around the age of 13-14+. It is a good pastime.

The game has a lot to show, i played it for hours; the graphics and evershifting game play against other people provided for me a challange, it was fun even in a sniper arena the ambiance set it off nicely. The map organizer was a lot of help in downloading new maps, and using them took no time to get into the game; I rated this game, top notch for those who like the adrenal rush of a 20 player filled room free for all, even if it is almost thirteen years old. I redownloaded the demo; it brought back memories, I like the textures, and designs of the maps and the game play.

An ultimate bloodbath, Dec 10, 2009

I have compleed the game and I consider it
is good game.Excellent 3D graphics and aewsome weaponry which allows you to waste your foe aggresively.Although I discovered that it has some similars with DS9-THE FALLEN. However, the game bots are doing an excellent job.We can even command them. They are fast and accurate.Respawn is useful.Because in final challenge, where you meet XIAN,the tournament champion, you will heavily require it.I mostly like the ASSAULT game mode.Unfortunatly, there are only few missions.

I rate unreal tournament as the best action game I have ever played, I remember this game after many years. I really loved to play the UT demo at that time, I’m looking forward to buy the full version very soon, enjoy playing!

I remember playing this game 4 years ago and loving it, just got the demo and am defiantly going to buy it. Awesome weapon set, brilliant game modes, the graphics could be better but I’m not complaining. Clever bots as well as awesome insults when you get killed, you can set up an auto insulter for when you blast the limbs off of someone as well. If your a shoot`em up fan I highly suggest you try this game.

Best Classic UT, May 15, 2009

Very nice old game to pick up and play any day of the week. Only flaw that I would say that is in this game is the graphics, but other than that nothing is really wrong. Good assortment of weapons, always people around to play with, and not to mention good old game modes to frag around in. All in all, classic game.
5/5
