Robot Arena 2: Design & Destroy is a new, advanced robot workshop, where players get to design and build their own fighting machines!
Start from simply drawn outlines, and then progress to adding armor, mobility, and weaponry. Or if buidling isn't your thing, join Team HQ and fight with pre-designed bots.
Players can wage war in a variety of arena-style contests filled with ramps, platforms, obstacles, and hazards that dramatically affect the match. Everything is controlled through a Team HQ, where players manage every aspect of their growing domination through League and Tournament play.
"Robot Arena: Design & Destroy delivers on its promise to entertain, and for the $20 budget price, there's plenty of bang for your buck. If the thought of putting the pedal through the metal pleases you, so will this game." - GameSpy
"This game rocks! I am a fan of "battlebots" and enjoyed Robot arena 2 very much! I love the robot creating options and the metal smashing action. Nice!" - Tristan Crowley, Robot Arena 2 Player
What our users are saying about Robot Arena 2:
"Great game! After watching the tv show I wanted to build my own bot but realized that it would take several thousand dollars. This is the perfect substitute! I have built over 20 bots now and have enjoyed going online to wage war with other robot arena 2 designers. keep making games like this, my congratulations to the designers" - Dave Hamlin
"I thought the game was great! The Controls were awesome. The graphics, well, lets say that my GameCube had tough competition! One of the best games I had ever played!" - Justin Tuppeny
"I really do enjoy this game. I feel that the graphic quality of the game is superb for one of its standards. I feel as if i have full control of the building of my robot. Although i would recommend a tutorial on how to build a robot (with all of the gadgets, and weapons and pros and cons of each. I do like to get rid of my anger with this game when i make a spinner robot just to run into people and throw their parts around everywhere." - Jacob Bob
"This game rocks! I play it forever when I get home the damage is so realistic" - Nick Hnat
"I thought thid game was awesome! Battling other bots is only half the fun. Since you can design your own bot and ad weapons of your choice it ads a whole nether level of fun." - Stephen Weimer

1 of 2 people found this review helpful Building a robot makes you very confident once you are done building. But the challenge is making the robot and wiring and all that stuff. The weapons are very nice, but people say that robot arena part 1. But robot arena1 is not that exciting because where are all the robot parts falling?, or the flipping over? I dont believe that. I have nothing to say anything bad about it. I LUV ROBOT ARENA 2: DESIGN AND DESTROY!!!!

A good game, but eventually repetitive., April 16, 2008 Reviewer: Ben G. from California
1 of 1 people found this review helpful SOUND 8/10
There's not much to say about the SFX. The metal sounds like metal, though a little low quality. There's not much else.
GRAPHICS 6/10
This is a part that begins to fail for the game. The textures leave a lot to be desired, and they're low resolution. They just don't seem to be... material. The scratches and bolts and such don't feel very realistic.
GAMEPLAY 9/10
This is where the game really starts to shine. The robot editor is extremely fun, however, it gets repetitive after a long session of playing. The very idea of being able to build the battling robots without the hassle of spending bundles of money for the materials is just great! You can basically make whatever you want to put on it, swinging weapons, flamethrowers, magnets... etc. And after you build it, you get to control it in a fight against various other opponents, AI or human. Controls can be configured however you ant, even depending on the different parts you put on your robot!
OVERALL 8/10

11 of 14 people found this review helpful THIS GAME WAS AMAZING!!!!!the graphic were one of the best graphics from all the computer games I played. the controls were also really good I really like how you can make a full body spinner. I think they should make a 3rd robot arena with more weapon selections.

robot arena 2: the best game ever, March 08, 2008 Reviewer: Ben Read from Downend,Bristol,England,UK
2 of 3 people found this review helpful In a word this game is amazing, the graphics are the best i've seen anywhere, the fact that you are able to design and build your own robots as well as being able to use some computer-built robots is the most brilliant idea in the history of gaming, the guy who planned the original concept and the team of people who made it all deserve a huge raise in their paychecks, the number of AI robots is also definitely impressive and the arenas are some of the most imaginative I have ever seen.
Only one thing is wrong with the game, which is the fact that it is not distrubuted in the UK
